Just got my fat black Perrin shift knob for my AT. Even though it doesnt serve much purpose, it looks and feels great.

Looks great. Where'd you get the black buttons?

I like! Who'd you get it from?

How to install it?
How’s the touch feeling different between the OEM one?
Thanks.

Just unscrew the stock knob and pull the boot down off it. The perrin has the same lip to hold the boot up. Just screws on and the boot sits around the bottom of the knob nice and tight. It kinda feels like those rubberized phone cases. Its hard but has a soft touch to it. Probably about twice the weight as stock as well

Titan motorsports. Theyre a vendor on the forums. I forget where i saw it but they have a few perrin parts at good prices

I got the black slim one myself, very nice feel to it. I might get a silver "fat" one too so i can just switch back and forth.

Is the knob weighted? Does it make powershifting from Park to Drive easier? :D

It is weighted... manual mode shifting is so much easier ;)

one thing i did notice about it though is it gets REAL cold and collects a lot of dust. Other than that, it's pretty nice

Does this thing get really hot during high temps?
