Brakes Sticking when cold
Quick question for you guys: seems that during the first few minutes of driving (or until I've been using the brakes a bit) that after passing a very light braking threshold I will hear a clunking sound in the front of the car accompanied by what feels like the front brakes biting pretty hard (yet I'm hardly on the pedal at all).
Releasing the brakes releases the stuck sensation from the brakes. So it basically feels like a stuck / unstuck feeling under very light braking at super slow speeds (5mph / idling). After some braking at higher speeds the problem seems to go away. My previous car didn't do anything like this, so I figured I'd ask you guys if it's just something with these cars. Though I really didn't notice it until november~december. Some general suggestions are that it could be a light layer of rust (which I've never experienced in other cars...but eh), that I should probably bleed the brake fluid a bit just to make sure there's no air / etc somehow. Any ideas? Anyone else deal with this? Thanks |
