AUTOMATION LIGHTING IS ONE OF THE FIRST TO BRING THIS TO YOU, 22w LED high power headlight bulb, made with a genuine Samsung LED chip. This is a true plug n play set up, no wiring, no ballast, no ignitor, that means no flickering, no warm up time, no bulkiness. Everything you see is what you need to get it installed. Color is ONLY available in 4300k OEM HID color, and these have an output of 1200LM/bulb. For comparison numbers, OEM halogen bulbs have an output of 600-800LM/bulb, and most HID kits have an output of about 1500LM/bulb. Available in H4/9003, H7, H11, and 9006 bulb sizes. 2013+ Scion FR-S would use H11 bulb size. If you have a Subaru BRZ, please check our other for sale thread on replacement OEM HID xenon bulbs. Here are some sample pictures of them installed in a 2013 Lexus CT200h F-Sport, 2010 Honda Odyssey, and 2000 Honda Civic. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8358/8...b808fd93_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8090/8...42bc80d9_c.jpg Installed on a 2000 Honda Civic, non-projector headlight housing. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8465/8...8e0ac287_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8234/8...f27c4556_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8051/8...1d58bccb_c.jpg Installed on a 2010 Honda Odyssey, non-projector headlight housing. Wow these are really bright for LEDs.. do you have any of these but in a different color other than 4300k? Like maybe 3000k?
|
What are the life expectancies of these bulbs? $120 including shipping?

Hows the cutoff with these things? Does it produce that bit of glare above the normal cutoff line like HIDs do?
|
You pretty much have me sold, though looking at the pictures, how are these installed? I know you say they're plug-n-play, but it looks like those are different than the H11 bulbs (they lack the plastic housing and "elbow" part). Do you have to disassemble a stock bulb and use it with that?
Or if you have some installation pics or a DIY somewhere, that'd be awesome. Do you still need to push down the little "squirrel finders" so there's no glare to oncoming traffic? |

Instead of having the 90* bend for the light socket to plug into, included is an adapter harness about 6 inches long, and that has the H11 plug that will mate with your vehicle. No ballast, no controllers, no extra components, it's as simple as it will get when it comes to upgrading lights. I've installed about 20 kits on local cars, and i've followed up with the owners, they have never experienced any flickering or issues with the lights, they can leave them on automatic mode, flick them on 20 times in a row, and they come in each and every time instantly, no warming up. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8358/8...b808fd93_c.jpg |
I'm just curious. Your rated lumen of these kits.
You state that HID kits are only 1500lm, when in fact HID kits are usually 3000Lm+. If your LED's are only 1500lm, there's not much difference from better premium halogen bulbs. Even standard Sylvania H11 55w, are rated at 1200 lumens +/-15%. I'm not trying to bash, but I do want to make sure you are advertising correct information to us. |

Here's how we came up with our numbers, back at the factory where these are produced, a halogen bulb, 22w LED headlight bulb, and 35w 5000K AC digital HID kit were placed and tested in a reflector housing headlight assembly. The same light meter was capturing the halogen bulb at approximately ~650 lumens, 22w LED headlight bulb at ~1200 lumens, and the 35w HID kit at ~1500 lumens. If Sylvania was measuring their H11 55w bulb at 1200 lumens and HID xenon at 3000 lumens, there is no doubt that their method of measuring differed from ours, and if we used their method, maybe our bulbs are rated even higher. Numbers are just numbers, and the results can vary due to different environments and light meters, but one thing is very clear, these are much brighter than factory halogen bulbs, but not quite as bright as 35w 5000K HID xenon bulbs. I am not trying to pass these off as the brightest and baddest bulbs on the market, it's simply an alternative to HID xenon and we're one of the first companies to introduce this technology to the public. Hope that clears things up. |
