Claimed 0 all the way getting back like 6k

Claimed one and still waiting for my w-2 from Dow, but should get around 3-3500

I got my shit thoroughly pushed in by the IRS this year. Even with a house purchase and part time student discounts I am getting absolutely reamed to the tune of 11,000 out of pocket due. The only solace I get is that my gf is pregnant and is a full time student so she is getting medicaid, WIC, and foodstamps. I figure if I pay such a metric fuck-ton in taxes each year I should get something back.

Did you use a CPA or did it yourself?

Can't believe you guys are doing you're taxes already. Ours are done in April or so usually.
