Mine already had the front plate holder installed, so mine is in the stock position.

My license plate holder was already drilled in. I just replaced the original screws with shorter ones and put some racing tape over where they touch the paint.

I'm right there with ya man. For me it's either plates in the middle, or risk it and have no front plates at all. I had my car since October and only got a ticket once from parking in the neighborhood street everyday. To me, I just think of it as payment for the luxury of having no plates. At least the money goes back to the local cops. They're pretty lenient here in SoCal since almost everyone does it.

i like the side mounted plates on the evo because it is flatter to the body. with the frs relocation kits, the plates look like they hang out so far. Id like this but dont want to deal with all the wireing and i like the frame i have around mine already: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khzkAgs5GVY"]Show-N-Go Electric Retractable License Plate Bracket - YouTube[/ame]

Its pretty easy to mount a front license plate - when you aren't mounting a front license plate.

^ This. I have a Grimmspeed tow hook kit since it was the only way for the dealer to not drill the front bumper when I picked it up. Since then, the plate hasn't been on.

@mrs. sata, what wheels are those?

I love the no plate look as well. But don't forget, parking cops (rent-a-cops) can give you tickets for plates as well. I've gotten tickets for plates while parked in a normal parking lot while eating lunch or whatever
