Painting a silicone inlet hose?

Has anyone painted a silicone hose? Is there anything that will stick? I am thinking of getting a silicone inlet hose to get rid of the noise generator and clean up the engine bay a little. The problem is I don't like the shiny finish or the manufacturer's logo. Just wondering if there's any product that will simulate the stock inlet hose's finish? Thanks!

Paint probably won't stick too well. You could always wrap it with something, like the stuff they use to wrap gun barrels and stocks. It's kind of like the stretchy tape doctors use on you arm after you get blood drawn, comes in many colors. Just an idea.

It will more than likely flake off over time. The logo can usually be removed with some paint thinner or rubbing alcohol.
