Initial Review + First Dyno Run for my Full Blown Turbo FRS on Friday, Feb 1 @ 3pm

Hey everybody in MD, if anyone wants to join me tomorrow at 3pm for my dyno at Agile Performance just give me a PM for my number (if you don't already have it). The car will be running Full Blown's 7-8psi (93 octane) base map that has been data logged and hopefully updated with a tweaked tune by this evening.

So far, my impression of the turbo can be summarized in this simple declarative statement- "It's a fucking animal." I took her home last night and had a workout out keeping her stable in the rain, not to mention the 6 puck clutch which is getting more and more aggressive. My only gripe at this moment is that I need to get used to the new clutch, I drove it before the turbo and found it to be relatively easy to drive. Now that the clutch has had maybe ~70miles on it, it's like wrestling with a bear.

I did some datalogging at 3am last night (I'm a nightshift RN), and grew to appreciate the "Pure" rawness of my transformed car. From the insane torque and power to the sounds of the blowoff valve, wastegate, and flywheel chatter, the car has turned into something I have only seen in movies and youtube.

But anyway, if anyone is interested in joining me tomorrow, feel free to call me. The reason why I'm getting it dyno'd at Agile is because I actually have a base stock run AND a e85 + bolt ons runs logged in their database. Hopefully I can have them overlap them for comparison. Also if you come, I'll take you for a ride :)

I'll update with pics and vids.

Have fun and take videos/photos! Good call on going to the same dyno for comparability to your cars' previous states.

2005 Mini Cooper S, 2007 VW GTI, 1996 Honda Prelude

My Dad's cars that I've regularly driven- 2005 Acura TL, 2004 BMW Z4, 2002 Infinit G35... he's become boring nowadays driving a Land Rover.

I think that's it. Sadly, no "monsters" like you Boostin. More will come in time for me.
