86s on Bathurst?
 
So! In March, Pedders are doing a drive day. At Bathurst. Just for us. I'm going, does anyone else want to sign up with me and pay less than half price? Also, seriously, why aren't all of you going?

$486 each, $199 if you buddy up with someone, 20 spots and only like five filled. It's been opened to AE86 owners as well. We must reverse this travesty with our fine ZN6s! Also come on, don't you want to fang down Conrod? :burnrubber:

If you want an email from CIMA marketing (the guys doing it) let me know. Not soliciting or being offered any benefits. I just want to see a bunch of 86s on the main straight of Bathurst. Did I mention they'll also show up in Wheels? :D

Bathurst is nowhere near Bendigo. I'm getting my car to Melbourne then freighting it unless I can organise something else...

Think you'll find it's part of the Easter race meeting,definitely not a Drive Day just for you.
Laps of Bathurst [3 I believe] will be at road speed behind a pace car or similar.
Lot of money {$486} for what you get IMO.
Also,it's Toyota 86 only.

$486 is alot of money but they are offering a special mates rates package where 2 people get it for $200ea. I'm tempted. I'm sure if others were interested you could get people from this forum teaming up to get it for the $200ea

Regarding the laps they say it will not be at 50kmh. Probably not 250kmh down conrod either. lol

There'll be a heavily modified AE86 as a "pace car", was the one at Bendigo Toyota on display for a while when the 86 came out. I doubt it'll be race speeds but we'll probably get a good head going down Conrod following that thing.

I'm going out to a team meeting soon, will post more details. But hey, if anyone else wants to buddy up and get the discount let me know.

Not a drive day, no. Part of a race meeting, which you get GA to as included. It won't be road speed but there will be a pace car and no overtaking. Was recently opened to AE86s, got the email day before yesterday.

If anybody wants to book up at the $200 rate let me know ASAP, PM will do. Ta!
