The BRZ actually uses 7440 front and rear for the turn signals. They sent me 7443 for the front and 7440 for the rear.

Dammit I lost an LED bulb into the rear housing. Anybody know how to get it out?

Maybe a vacuum cleaner or telescoping magnet might help.

By the way, if you think those reverse led lights are too dim, try some 360 degree type LEDs instead.

Painters Tape is your friend!

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8088/8...34185862_b.jpg
Done! This was the easiest mod to do.

I followed these directions:

Pop the passenger side center stack lower cover (below the knee pad) off. Reach in from behind and pop the USB connector out (push forward). The next step is to unplug the connection and push the wiring back through the exposed hole. After that reach into the now vacant USB hole with your pointer finger and pull gently. It may require some tugging a bit, but it will eventually pop out. Just go slow and use some Painters tape to cover the area in front of the shifter.

Thanks Bugeyedwagon!

Very nice first mods. I'd like to see pics of the fog LEDs.

I am waiting for my clear corners to come in before I do the LED fogs, so I can do them both at the same time. Already got amber LEDs for the clear corners too. I found that there is one more regular bulb in the rear tail lights, rear side marker light. I will replace that with an LED too.

Yeah my hands need some lotion.

tripjammer 02-03-2013 02:14 AM

I got the rear CREE led backup light removed from the left housing after it fell in earlier this week.

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8043/8...fa1f1b16_b.jpg
I used this...a telescoping screw driver with a magnet on it. Went to my mums house and she had one, and it worked! It pulled right out very easily.

Like to see daytime clips of the turn signals. I have a 13 SMD LED turn signals and I could barely see them in broad daylight. Might have to upgrade to the 1.5W chips and CREE front.

Also, how does your fog LED match with your HID?

Here you go:

http://www.diodedynamics.com/store/i.../category/647/

They come in Yellow or White. I went white. I will take a pic in the day and night with them on. They are mad bright white. Totally awesome. Expensive but worth it. They are a perfect fit. No modification needed. Forget trying to retrofit hids in there get these.

All the lights in the car in and out are LEDs besides the HID headlights.

Yeah, but it is so awesome! You see what them LED fogs and turn signals look like? OMG so pimp and high tech. Its what the car should have come like from the factory. Hehe

Oh yeah!!!! Thanks to dynotronics up in New Braunfels.

Joe hooked it up.

tripjammer 04-04-2013 11:23 PM

Have not done an update in awhile.

Ok the tuning is going real good. The tuner had me wrong in his notes, so my car was running crappy, but we all past that now. Baby Blu is getting fast!

I just did some datalogging on the last ROM file Dynotronics sent me and damn this sucker is getting sharp. Throttle response is off the hinges!

I ordered yesterday the WeatherTech floor mats. Should have them early next week.

I plan of ordering the Perrin Inlet Hose
http://www.perrinperformance.com/brz...brz-inlet-hose

and the Perrin Panel Filter
http://www.perrinperformance.com/brz...s-panel-filter

and the Cusco Radiator Cap

ssooooooo jelly about the color of your car, that blue is just awesome on the brz. Good choice on the exhaust tips aswell.

Any Feedback on the airfilter? Is it worth the money? Noticed any changes (sound or performance wise?)
