Round 1 of the 2013 FT86 Cup will be held at Buttonwillow Raceway! This track is considered the "benchmark", and annually hosts both Global Time Attack and Super Lap battle, where some of the fastest cars in the country come to set their best times.

As always, the FT86 Cup is geared toward the grassroots weekend warriors, encouraging both veterans and beginners alike to come drive at the track.

Signups are available at www.extremespeedtrackevents.com, and the event will be discounted to $125 (normally $150) with coupon code "FT86CUP".

Road Race Motorsports is sponsoring the series for 2013, and will be providing prizes at EVERY event. Please stop by their booth and thank them for their generous contributions!

CounterSpace Garage and Robispec will both be present to give suspension tuning tips, demonstrations of the FR-S and BRZ's capability, and ride-alongs!

I was co-driving the blue CR in the back (I was rudely reminded why I don't like being gridded behind corvettes... aka don't be late to grid!)

Looks like alot of fun. Also looks a little wet! How did you end up doing?

Terrible, since it slowly kept drying towards the last few sessions of the day and I didn't drive the s2k in the "fast" session... (co-driver was in that run group, so I couldn't hijack his last run session).
