Why must he get GAP insurance? Do you know how much he plans to use as a down payment?

GAP insurance is only for people who have little or no money for a down payment. If you buy the "right" way, you have zero need for GAP insurance. Who the hell buys a car with little or no money down?

GAP insurance is just a catchy phrase that stands for: "I couldn't afford it, so I bought it anyway".

hahahaa cash don't mean anything to the dealers unless you are paying for them to rape u.. the lower u put down payment and the higher interest rate is what they want in most cases and thats how they make money.. depends on dealers u go to..

maxx1957 01-28-2013 09:57 PM

I paid $28452.00
Red Manual
The dealer had stuff on the car that I didnt want, like bespoke, some clear plastic the hood, ashtry, but I did get leather which came out really nice.. If there was a base one to be found I wouldve bought it...

GAP is a simple CYA measure. You never know what will happen in the next day to how ever long you own the car. GAP is cheap, and helps you from going into paying a car you might no longer have.

Sad fact: MANY cars are bought this way today. Have you ever heard the term "$30,000 millionaire" before?
