Question for model builders

2 Attachment(s)
I've been thinking of getting into model building. The direction I'm thinking in is model cars. What I'm wondering is roughly how much of an investment would be needed to get properly equipped with tools for model building including air brush? Also where to start? What equipment, store or web site would be the place to go for the required equipment? I haven't built any models in probably 50 years so any insight you can give me would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Buy a spray gun later, after you've decided whether or not you actually want to do this. Some people like the really basic airbrushes, some people like the nicer ones with more features, some like the gun shaped ones.

As far as supplies and models, there's TONS of sites... to get models from Japan I'm usually looking at hlj.com though there are places to get American versions or those same Japanese versions from a state-side vendor.
