Am i the only one who thinks carbon fiber shouldn't be in interiors?
Its such a boring pattern, carbon fiber isn't really attractive to look at all. People who don't know what carbon fiber is, thinks it looks stupid as well. Have you ever tried to explain the reason why you have a carbon fiber wrap on your hood to someone who doesn't care about cars? Its hilarious.
I understand if you have a stripped interior and you might have a carbon dash, door sills and etc to save weight but as little inserts in luxury sport interiors, it just looks down right cheesy. In some cases it just ruins the contrast, i'm referring to BMW, Audi and etc... Audi has some of the best interiors I've ever seen but the RS interiors are just...ruined with carbon fiber. Oh and don't even get me started on carbon fiber wraps, it ruins cars sometimes i swear... Whatever makes you people happy. |

Cool story bro, tell it again.

Haha. I know where you are coming from. It does look very tacky in a normal car. In my opinion, the only situation where carbon fiber fits the car's interior is when you drive a super car, but only if the manufacturer does it right. However, super car manufacturers don't normally fill their interior with carbon fiber because they know that it looks tacky, lol. Its just an option for customers that ask for it.
Companies like audi, who are making sporty versions of the car and putting carbon fiber in the interior, are just targeting a very specific group of people, that is, the enthusiasts that think its hip/cool to have CF in their interiors... It's a great way to mark up the price and not have to engineer anything great ;) |

So why don't you do something about it? Change the world. Whats stopping you? I did something about it, i made people realize that the cheap carbon fiber wraps on their cars and interior make their car look cheap and cheesy, also proved insight on how to make their cars look better and give it a sporty look if that's what they want. Well? |
