Difference between AU and US spec Eibach Pro Kits?

Can those in the know please confirm if the US and AU Eibach Pro Kits are the same, and if the US spec will, in fact, fit the AU 86?

Product numbers:

US: 82105.140
AU: 82143.140A

Reason I ask is because I can get the Pro Kit from Tire Rack for about $30 cheaper than the Eibach AU store ;)

A few Aus sellers are showing the US part No as above, i'm looking at Sportline and yep cheaper from the US but Eibach Aus say they are waiting for a German made kit which is more suited to our roads...

Friend of mine recently bought from the US and no issues at all, perfect fit..

Interesting.

I'm curious about the mods they'll be making to make it "more suited to our roads". Any more details or ETA?

Sorry that's all I know so far but there's a thread on it somewhere here I think.

Not sure if this helps but this is what I was told by Eibach Australia today (re the Eibach Pro Kit):

1. German Made, lowers vehicle by approximately 25mm with springs rates emphasised on performance.

2. USA Made, lowers vehicle by approximate 25mm, with a more road complainant feel.

Eibach Australia offer both of these kits though (and I didn't confirm the part numbers so I can't answer your question precisely).

So just an update on this, I bought the USA made Pro Kit from Eibach Australia directly and the part number is 82105.140. This kit is 100% confirmed to work on Australian delivered 86/BRZ's.

I therefore assume that the German made Pro Kit is 82143.140A.

If you can get the USA made Pro Kit (82105.140) cheaper from the USA directly I would say go for it (one would think it's identical to the USA made Pro Kit you can buy locally).

Thanks!

I'm about to put an order through an American dealer, and avoid getting wallet-raped through the Aussies!

How much savings are we looking at once shipping is factored in?

About $50 AU.
