External Mirror Alternative?

Apologies if this has been asked before but I could not find any posts related to my question.

Does any one know if all markets get the same size external mirrors? I am finding them to be too large; they obscure vision at round-abouts and t-intersections. I have seen APR Formula GT3 Mirrors but the thing is I would like to keep remote adjustment if possible.

ta.

ft-86 speedfactory has this, but i doubt it keeps the remote adjustment:

+1 These mirrors are stupid... I think it is a new regulation size because all mirrors are like this now... over at BMW forums they call this Dumbo Ears... I honestly dont need height... ie the mirror getting taller... I need mirrors that are longer width wise so i can see blind spots... this car's mirror is also so fat... the left side mirror has a huge black housing on the right side blocking my view... The best mirrors I had ever used were the mirrors in my e92 M3 and my dad's 2008 e350... mirrors these days are retarded...

In terms of increasing visibility, add these lenses:

I have seen a number of street vehicles with mirrors custom-installed on the front fenders. Depending upon the vehicle, anywhere from one foot to three feet behind the headlights.

I otherwise like the large mirrors for the advantage they give for their intended purpose. Advice FWIW: position your car (in some cases, but not all) so that the mirror does not hinder vision.

The smaller the car the more difficult mirrors can become: one of the inherent features one must contend with.

One of the benefits of some small crossovers or small SUVs - they have larger mirrors. I like the larger mirrors on my Mazda CX-7, for instance, where styling is not as important as needed for 'sports cars'. As a result, my next car will probably be a crossover type vehicle with excellent sports car attributes with the function of more passenger space and/or 'trunk' space in concert with a rear lift gate.
