anyone have a 3d printer?

I'm looking for someone that has a 3d printer. That could make a badge to replace the steering wheel badge

I have a Solidoodle 2, but it's in the process of being leveled and adding in some modifications. What do you have in mind?

Just a simple 86 logo.

Do you have a model made? Throw it up on Thingiverse or something and I'll see what I can do.

Hmm... So you were looking for someone who would do the full chain. I don't much time to do any 3d modeling, but I'll be happy to print something. You'll need to start with some CAD program. You'll need to do some reading.

You can start by checking out this faq at solidoodle: http://www.solidoodle.com/how-to-2/h...ate-a-3d-part/

Lots of people on here want things 3D printed, but few have a CAD design ready to go. The real cost is the time spent designing in CAD. I have an 86 logo that can easily be scaled to work for what you want which I'm happy to share.

I'd be willing to start printing and selling custom parts like this, but I don't want to run afoul of forum rules, and doubt I could make enough to make becoming an official vendor worthwhile.

PM me if you're really interested maybe we can figure something out.

Wow that looks great. it would just have to be scaled/ or big enough to cover the oval on the steering wheel.

I feel like a lot of members that replaced their Scion badges are looking for something to change their steering wheel as well.

Why do you have to be a vendor? Couldnt you just sell in the members classified section

Why its every one ashamed of the scion logo? Like its something evil.
