Alright to install clear bra in winter (cold)?

Since someone asked about tint in the winter, I want to ask about installing clear bra in the winter when it's cold. Will the clear bra adhere well if i get mine installed in the winter?

Also, what about opti-coat in winter?

As long as the installation is performed in a heated environment. I wouldn't want to apply film at temps below ~5C min. Once it's on, it's on; driving out into the cold won't effect it. Same with Opti Coat; apply above 10C, let cure for ~one hour and it's on for good. (Actually re: OC/OG, you don't really even need an hour, but play it safe).

What about the the remaining solution used during the installation for the clear bra?

The solution used to tack ppf is mixed with isopropyl alcohol. I have never seen it freeze even with weather into the -40s; but if you're concerned you could wait for warmer weather.

the reason i want to get clear bra installed asap is because all the salt they put on the road they are the size of small rocks that can be kicked up and hit my car.

Ya, I completely agree with that. I have my entire front end done. I learned the hard way on my last car.

try asking the shop that installs it, if they can keep your car inside for 1 or 2 more nights after the install. this is also a good way to judge customer service.
see who's willing to really help you out.
