6 small dents. PDR advice.

Hi guys

Just returned to my car after parking it in the city for 30 mins and found a series of 6 small/tiny dents on the top pillar above the passenger and driver windows. Not on the roof but on the pillar section. Devastated to say the least as I've only had the car for 3 weeks. Don't have any enemies and they were definitely done by someone because there was nothing around that could have fallen on top.

Anyone know of any cost effective paint less dent removal guys in Sydney? I also know you can get DIY paint less dent removal kits. Are they any good?

Will post some pics when I can.

Arghhhh I hate when this happens.

I work down the hunter valley as a Panel Beater, once you get some photos up i'll see what advice I can give, and home pdr kits don't really work, it takes us years of experience to do basic dents, if there was a magic solution we'd be using it haha.

I'm not in your area but what would you recommend to fix stone chips in the front bar?

Yeah i cant understand the mentality, same as taggers. nothing worse than having something you've worked hard for and take pride in wrecked for no reason.

To be honest mate the only thing that will restore a bar to immaculate showroom quality is a full rub, touch up with body filler in the chip areas IF they are down to the plastic, and full re-paint of the bar. Getting the exact colour again is easy enough with the right equipment and care, however some shops don't care enough to go to those lengths, so it's a risk. However if you do get it repainted, you're well within your right to question their work and get it re-done until your happy, you are a paying customer after all.

I'd say if you want a quick cheap fix, get them brush touched, you'll notice them, but they'll blend in a lot more than those ugly spots.

That's my two cents anyway.

Yep parked on Liverpool St next to World Square.

Never again. I parked in front of a BMW 535 and behind a Merc E320 and mine ends up getting damaged when those cars are worth 3 times as much. I guess I can only hope karma gets them.

Anyway got the dents repaired today at Artarmon for $35 per dent. They did a great job. Sorry I didn't get the chance to load the pics. Pm me if u ever need the contact.
