ft86 turbo RWD or AWD?
If FT86 (either from toyota or subaru) comes with turbo (rumored 300hp),
Would you want it to be RWD or AWD? I personally want it to be RWD for many reasons. -If rumors of 2500lb or less is true, I do not want to add more weight. -RWD is also easier to Maintain. If one tire goes out, i don't have to change all 4. -Subaru's AWD system is not that great compared to some others but not that horrible. I would easily choose RWD over subaru's awd system. :clap: |
I thought the Symmetrical AWD system was renowned and nearly synonymous with performance?

It is. :iono: Anyway, I guess it'd depend. Maybe I'd have one turbo awd and one na rwd? :bellyroll: Srsly though, RWD all the way unless I move into the snow belt. |
as far as the topic is concerned, Im interested in the FT because of the RWD aspect, I've owned FWD, and my dad owns an AWD and now its time to ride RWD.
I can't call myself much of a driver, even if I want to, if I've never experienced all driving forms. Then again theres vehicles with 2 steering axles, front and back steering.. that'd be a unique experience. |
Turbo RWD. 'Nuff said. :burnrubber::burnrubber:

300 HP/TQ in a 2800lb car..you're looking at faster 0-60 times than an Elise. If it corners like they say it will and has that much power I wouldn't think Porsche competition would be out of the question

Anyways, I'll go with Turbo AWD and NA RWD. I live in snow belt area, so I need AWD for winter. |
i have my truck for winter. :D
n/a rwd. i kind of hope there is not an awd option, honestly. and i don't want to live on a day-to-day basis with a turbo car. always making sure the oil is warm before boosting, timing before turning it off, worrying more about oil temps and condition, type of oil, etc... -Mike |
rwd all the way!!
