CG 35mm Lowering Springs Review (PICS)
8 Attachment(s)
Having ridden on stock, stock suspension with wheels, and now wheels with CG 35mm lowering springs, I have come to a conclusion
My review: Stock rode nice and had just the right amount of stiffness in my opinion. When i put on my wheels, the ride quality became rougher. Also, my wheel gap annoyed me soo... I got the springs as a recommendation from FRS86 and i thought I would give it try. The springs looked nice on the outside and I was excited to put them on. After putting them on and driving around, I noticed that it was ironically smoother on the roads. Not what I had expected. I was pretty happy with the outcome. However, on dips in the road, I have noticed it to be slightly, i mean slightly harsher than stock setup. I am very satisfied with this product. and the way my car looks now |

(my rears look higher due to an angle I was parked on... will get better pics) |
I like it! Anyone done this with the stock wheels? I'd be interested to see, since wheels/tires are not in the immediate budget. Also, where did you buy them from? I went to www.cgsprings.com (printed on the spring in your picture), but it didn't lead anywhere

looks good.. any straight side shot?

Yeah, for stock shocks you murdered your suspension travel... Look in to the recently released Koni dampers. I blew my rear shocks with a 15mm rear drop @7K miles and only 8 track events. May want to look in to some geometry correction of some sort if you are going to lower the car that much too.

After it settled, was it right at 2 inches or slightly over?...

How do these compare to sportlines? Given they provide about the same drop.
