PDX/Canby Drift Event - Sat Jan 26 at Pat's Acres

I'm probably going to go watch, might be a cool place to meet up.

Gates open at 10 am, $10 admission unless you want to audition! :burnrubber:

Sounds interesting. I've never watched a drift event/race type thing before. Should be free to spectators in my opinion to attract more drivers. ;)

This sounds fun but 50% of showers on Saturday. Anyone know if they have covered seating?

JesseE 01-22-2013 07:24 PM

They do not have covered seating - bring a umbrella!, its a very very fun track to drift on, Can't wait to get the frs out there. My R33 was a blast to drift there.

Other way around actually, it make's it a lot cheaper to drive if spectators pay :-D

I wish there were events closer to Eugene... :( The last event me and the family went to at PARC was a blast! My son loves to watch drifting (main reason I got the FR-S was to learn so we could go participate)

What I meant by where is I wouldn't know where it could be done south of Portland, we don't have much in the way of tracks down this way.

There's wilsonville raceway

Cade01 01-24-2013 12:34 AM

That's not really that much closer.

well you trying to get a group to go to the track or just a meet up?

Cade01 01-24-2013 01:37 AM

Mostly just wish there was a place closer to learn, I've watched drifting but never had the opportunity to participate. To drive that far and then have to pay makes it less appealing. I know, I know, pay to play, yada yada, yada.
