hey guys, found this video on youtube, not sure if it posted already, but i thought it iwll be interesting to share this Subaru, Toyota, and Scion have all released their lovechild rear wheel drive sports coupes. The BRZ, GT86, and FRS. What does this mean for the three brands?

The guy on the left should have done more research before having that segment. He seems to be misinformed on certain points, but its nice to hear a person from marketing talk about this issue.

Nice find.

Am I the only one who thinks these two are almost complete idiots?

Yeah. I linked an earlier episode a few days ago of them bashing Toyota for being a shitty company. The guy on the left is a complete moron. He hates Scion and is a Subaru fanboy. Nothing wrong with having your own opinion, but its just annoying as hell when you listen to their biased coverage. Not to mention that they seem to be clueless on Scion's success at breaking *multiple* FWD car records and being involved in racing.

I used to watch this show but not anymore...

true that people would buy the front end of the GT-86. mmmmm i wonder how much it would cost. 1.5k?

subatoy 12-06-2011 02:28 AM

wow that idiot on the left, needs to do more research.
Ihas been CLEARLY said that putting AWD on this car is IMPOSSIBLE.
This engine is sitting too far back from the front axles.

Wait for a few more months, you can pick up aftermarket bumpers for a few hundreds.

:word: the guy on the left is clueless.

Don't often agree about Leo but he is spot on in this case. Regardless of what the tC'ers think, Scion's "Racing achievments" pale in comparison to what storied models such as the original AE86, 3 series, Celica, Quattro etc have achieved over the years. They are not looked at or taken seriously, and if they are going to push a sports car, IMO they need to be.

The guy on the left is definitely clueless though.
