Any tips on removing brake caliper

Hi All,
I am removing the brake caliper to make it easier to clean and paint. Any tips on disconnecting the brake line from the caliper? I know I am going to have to bleed the brakes, but from what I have read I want to avoid letting all the fluid drain further up the line (ABS pump, etc).

Thanks!

Stock rubber lines? If so you can clamp them with a hose pincher/hose clamp plier.
