New exhaust tips installed

Hey guys I finally got around to ordering and installing my exhaust tips. I really hated the dinky OEM tips and wanted something more aesthetically pleasing. I know there are a lot of members here who have bought aftermarket tips from DC Sports, JDM, etc. I ran into the Perrin exhaust tips on their website and they looked too good to pass up. They cost about the same as the ones that come on the GT86 in Japan but I actually like these much better since they sit more flush with the bumper. I also believe it's the same looking tip they have on their exhaust systems. I have to say the finish of these tips are fantastic and making me want to upgrade to their exhaust.

Thought this would be a great alternative if you're looking for a quality exhaust tip with very good. Like I said it's a bit pricey but if you're in the market for the JDM ones which stick out too much on our cars then this is a great option!

Anyways, here are some pics of the before and after if anyone is interested. Lemme know what you think...

Very nice! Can you shoot a daylight pic when you have a chance? Looks great but pics are kinda dark. I really dig this Idea.. the ONLY thing I dont like about this car are the goofy factory exhaust tips.

Not sure I'd want to pay as much as perrin wants.. but its a nice alternative.

Yeah, sorry the pics are dark. I will definitely try to take more pics and post them up.

looks nice and well made! but very pricey

a little bit more and you can have a new AB exhaust

That's true 86_ZN6. Although these are pricey I think it will be a while before I buy an exhaust but I am considering the Perrin Resonated Exhaust or the WORKS!

These tips definitely get the job done aethestically because those OEM tips had to go...it should be a crime to sell a car like the FR-S/BRZ with those kind of tips...

Yes, they are pricey but I plan on having these for a good while and wanted something that will stand up to daily abuse. I've seen other members post up their tips and some of them don't fit well or the tip are not great quality and turn color and rust. I started to look at the JDM ones but saw that they stick out too much for my taste and cost about the same.

They look good, and great quality. If I had the money, i would have done the same thing. I currently have the DC sports tips on mine, I couldn't stand looking at my car and seeing those teeny tips. I also have Vibrant muffler tips on my muffler delete setup, which looks similar to the perrin ones, minus the perrin logo...

Looks very good. I'm in the same boat. Hate the factory tips, but not ready for a full exhaust yet.

looks good. i dont know i should pay $$ for this until i get full exhaust

Any tips are better than the factory ones. Good pick on these, but I love my jdms, but that's what's great we all have options.

Tips look great except for the branding, would rather have a non-branded mock-OEM look to lower the rice quotient.
