removing front grille (fr-s) request

can someone do a quick write up of how to remove it? does this require taking off the bumper? thx

I haven't looked at it on the actual car, but according to the service manual, there are 20 clips that hold it in place, and they can only be accessed by taking the bumper off.

I did my Hella horn install without taking off the front bumper. If you can get the front of the car on jackstands safely you can remove the 2 plastic pieces under the bumper and probably remove the grill. Not sure if this is easier, but it kept me from having to deal with those S**TY clips that hold the corner markers on the car.

just push it a little and it will separate the clips, then just turn and pull out

yeah there are two screws holding it in to the bumper

1 screw on each side holding a plastic piece that presses up against the grill.

I removed mine when I took off my bumper but did not like seeing the tabs or the crash bar so I put it back.
