My girlfriend said today as I was checking the site while waiting for the redlight to turn green....

Her.... "Don't you think you are a little obsessed with that?"
Me.... "With what?" as I turn to see what she is talking about.
Her.... "That website... don't you think thats a little obsessive going on that on your phone and driving"
Me.... "Baby, the light is red. Its not like I'm doing anything else"

There's nothing funny about distracted driving. Too many accidents as a result.

Welp, considering I WASNT driving... I was sitting at a LONG ASS HOLDING REDLIGHT... when the light turned green my phone was back on my clip.

So....

Haha Been there. I dont use my phone and drive but when im at a long red light i like to stay updated and got that same talk from my girlfriend. haha
And yes when the light turns green i put my phone away. And i only do it on a few lights around here that i know take FOREVER. haha

For fcuks sake, you'd think I was condoning driving down the expressway and checking this site... CLEARLY I SAID WHILE SITTING AT A LIGHT.

I'm glad someone saw my point though, I was just stating how much I love this site and all the good stuff on it.

Is it not conceded that things can still go wrong whilst distracted at a red light? Is it such a bother to leave your phone alone?

If you truly believe that waiting for a light to turn green is not driving-- then i feel nervous about your driving sense and the ease of your area's Driver's License Assessment.


And for the record, this site is addicting and i too have the fever.

Hmm... lets see.... light was red for like 5 minutes. If me looking at my phone is going to cause catastrophic wrecks cause by other people CAUSE my eyes werent looking at the ass end of the car in front of me, then by all means, I'll quit looking at my phone... while waiting at a long ass redlight.... thats holding for the entire length of a song.... as in I could get out and take a piss on the side of the road and get back in and the light would still be red.... I suppose 5 minute naps are better anyway.... lol

Driving sense? People have driving sense? Not here in ATLANTA they dont!!!

If cops don't mind you checking your phone at the light, then so be it. Cops in my area would definitely hand out a ticket or stern warning, and no 5 minute red light excuse would work.

Just stay safe as that's the intention of the guys giving a tough time. Besides, you should give your girlfriend some attention if she's complain about you checking the site all the time. Just my 2 cents.

Got to admit she has a point man. Really at a red light on your phone checking the site :lol:
