Jdm under panels

Is there any interest in a group buy for these under panels? Would need 3 other people and the price would be right around 260 picked up in southern nh or Boston. If bought individually it comes out to around 320.

Parts now on the way. ETA: 2013/02/12

Update: 2013/02/06 Panels are in.

Update: 2013/02/12 All panels are spoken for.

The list goes in this order. I'll give people a few days to speak for their set. Total damage will be $265/set. I haven't gotten a customs invoice but I'm assuming it'll be around $20. (edit 2/23, for future reference, I got the customs invoice, it was $26 from fedex) This is for 4 underbody panels and hardware for 1 car. I have 3 extra sets. You can pick these up at my house near Exeter, NH or meet me near Logan Airport sometime. Arrange through PM.

If anyone wants to setup another groupbuy and has any questions, feel free to contact me. Thanks for the guys that went in on this!

I might be interested; but $350 sounds like a lot. The 4 pack is just under $700 in parts...what is the shipping estimate?

Just ran it through japanparts again, it came out to be alot lower. Don't know why but I had $1300 in my head from the last time I looked. I'm not selling these for any profit and plan to be 100% transparent. Just want to save a few bucks and help a few fellow ft86ers out. If there is enough interest, I'm just going to order a set and sell them here, don't want to deal with the hassle of taking payments up front and having people nag about the slow boat from japan.

that looks a lot better ;-). I had just looked ans it was less then $350 for me to buy just 1; thats why I asked. It looks like it will be about $260 each...not bad. Lets see if we can get anyone else involved!

Also it looks like we need a few extra clips...we should see what we need and buy those at the same time so that it's a complete kit.

Sony 01-22-2013 03:35 AM

I'd be interested if you offered the complete kit with clips. I live in Somerville so pickup would be easy for me.

industrial 01-22-2013 10:20 AM

I thought the packages from japanparts came with all the hardware? What extra clips do we need?

Beyer Subaru 01-22-2013 10:23 AM

All clips are included. You won't need any extra hardware.

One thing to consider though is tax-duties. If you are ordering four sets, there should be some extra fees that you will experience well after the order is delivered. So factor in some funny money to cover the extras. - Not from J-Parts but from the US shippers/gov't.

These are some really big boxes.

Thanks for the info man, I'm kind of curious to see what other charges come through too. There really doesn't seem to be enough interest though. I don't want to have these huge boxes sitting in my basement for 6 months. :bonk:

Beyer Subaru 01-22-2013 02:13 PM

They are big but they don't weigh anything. I was able to carry all of the boxes by myself.

I'd buy a set, I'm sure others would as well once they knew you had them. If they come pre-boxed you could easily ship the to other states. Just make people pay their own shipping.

You prolly wouldn't wanna pay to ship these things twice. The boxes are really big.

Turbowned 01-23-2013 02:24 PM

Is it bad that I'm considering this and I don't even expect to have a car 'til April/May?

Beyer Subaru 01-23-2013 03:44 PM

No. It's a good idea to make a pile of parts if you are 100% that your getting a car. It was going to be my plan but my car came about 6 months faster than I expected.
