Stay Crushing x Vortech x Jordan Innovations

http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...42156557_n.jpg

I will be having a full post on the blog on my site hopefully by later tonight but here is something exciting that we did for Vortech.

Vortech claims a rather easy install for someone in their garage with the right tools and some knowledge about cars. This is true however the manual isn't the easiest thing to follow/read in the kit (Vortech is also currently working on that)

BUT!!!!!

We did something SUPER rad!!!

Yesterday I partnered up with Performance Auto and Sound and Drifting.com to do a full step by step tutorial on the install of the kit!!!

Jeff over at Jordan Innovations is the man responsible for installing this kit and to be honest it wasn't that bad he said, the fit/finish is real good but the manual wasn't the easiest thing to follow for the average person.

I will have a little snippet of the install (a few photos) and a walkthrough of Vortech on my site.

I also did something else that no one has done before on a forced induction install, posted periodic steps on instagram!!! on my instagram if you go follow me you will see about 20 of the major steps (behind the scenes) available to view!! @staycrushing

http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...07851081_n.jpg

There will be a full step-by-step text/picture walkthrough in the April 2013 issue of Performance Auto and Sound of the kit so that potential/new owners of the kit have a reference for the install rather than just the manual.

A second thing we did is... a DVD!!! Drifting.com filmed the ENTIRE install and is currently editing the footage. This DVD will show everything start to finish you need to do in order to install this kit and drive off!! This ensures that people will not become confused or left in the dark during install. This install feature will also show you how much work is involved and you can decide for yourself if you would like to attempt this yourself or pay to have it professionally installed by someone like Jeff... I believe he carries the kits too... ;)

thanks guys for the feedback!!!

Can't wait for the install dvd to drop and that will be available on drifting.com

also Jordan Innovations is now a dealer of Vortech (I dont work for them they just did the install, so mods dont treat this as me trying to sell the kit)

any questions about kit please let me know!! :)

JordanInnovations 01-26-2013 11:56 PM

Just saw this linked in an email and wanted to say hi.

We do offer the kit for sale (as well as just about anything else in the automotive world), but that's not why we're at FT86club at the moment. I'd be happy to answer any questions you guys have about the car, modding it, etc, and especially about the installation of the kit. This car is SO much more fun now!

Nice job, hey I noticed you added cool little vents where your signal lights used to be. You mind me asking where you got them?
