had me right up till i saw the price of it $200 bucks is alittle but much BUT it should integrate everything

You do realize this is a Bargin don't you .. I priced out 3 other systems.. and they all wanted about $1500 plus

those were way over the top.. and This one is specific to AutoCross...

$200 is cheap for what your getting.. Have a couple of friends using it right now. You can actually look and analyze you runs while in Grid.. That in itself is worth it..
OBD2, Wifi and Blutooth..and you can integrate your Go-Pro....

Oh well.. just putting it out there..:)

Like you pointed out, it's ridiculously cheap compared to the popular data-logging systems... my only beef is using the phone GPS. it's not accurate enough as a datalogger. It's really trick for G's and syncing cameras and stuff... but a Phone GPS will not be accurate enough for most stuff I'd be looking for, and that is a good chunk of where the price difference comes in.

You CAN use the phone GPS...however; you can get an updated Blutooth 10hz update rate module and pair it to the phone so it gets the quicker updates..:)

The 5 and 10hz external GPS systems turn your phone into something better than useable for this application. I have been using Trackmaster with an external 5hz antenna for awhile now. Repeatable data at a sample rate good enough to plot the smallest of Solo layouts.

I have a friend using Solo Storm and you just can't get better data for the money. Good Stuff!

Solostorm rocks. It is a VERY powerful tool and is worth EVERY penny.
Don't use the internal GPS. Purchase the external.
I know of no other system that is so easy to review between runs.
I have had DL1/MaxQ and now this.

Just got this... can't wait to use it.... got the 10hz GPS module along with my OBD2 module...so should have full capability..:) oh and got a Samsung Tab2 7.0 to run it all.. should be good.. might get a gopro to tie it all together...or use the camera on the tab.. we'll see.. :)

What mount are you using? I tried a ram mount but the window mount is too big and the seat rail mount doesn't work well with autocross.
