i need a quick picture of the vent bezel removal as well. Just ordered the black ones. I feel like you could take a pair of pliers and gently pull at it but i don't want to break anything or scratch the surrounding panels.

same here! they felt removable, but didn't want to risk it

It would be great if someone could show how to safely remove the door handle trims too!

I saw the door handles in another thread, i think from a speaker swap or something. You need to use something that won't crack to easy as it's clipped in real tight but just start at the bottom by the fake leather trim and pull up hard. It takes some force but it'll come out. just be sure NOT to start at the top. The top clip doesn't go straight in like the rest. It's angled upwards and will break if you try to pry from there.

also be sure to just pry up the silver piece. The black grip around it is screwed down under the silver part.

Actually, do you happen to know how to remove the black part of the door handle? I'm thinking of plastidipping or wrapping it red to look like the GT86. I kinda want to keep the silver part on the door handle.

I haven't tried yet but i know there's 2 screws under the silver. Not sure if those screws release the grip or if there's more screws behind it or something. I know Nigel JDM sells the red grips from japan so they definitely come off but they're $150 for those. I wonder how well plastidip will stick to the rubbery texture. Worth a try though i suppose

Plastidipping is pretty much the same process as spray painting, except you can choose to rip it off after it dries.

I can take a video of removing the shift surround, headunit surround, and the plastic piece in front of the passenger seat if you need it.

@i_4got: I happen to take some snaps when I removed my handle trim. Here's a quick walkthrough...

Here's a photo of the back of the trim piece. There are some larger clips at the bottom, some small clips up the middle and a slit at the top.

Here's a photo of the handle with the trim off. I've circled some clips.

I think the easiest way to go is to start from the bottom (where it's pictured above). Once the bottom few flips are loose, you can just use your hands and pull the piece off. The slit slides out last.

I noticed this metal clip thing that remained on the door for me. Not sure of it's purpose, but thought I'd point it out anyway.
