Also trying to sign up for this one, waiting for my vacation request to get approved lol. Wish they had more track days during the week.

ahhh, I would really like to go again (I went in Dec.) but I don't think I can take this day off... my coworker is going to be off the same week and I can't also be gone. :(

Sounds like fun Im going to laguna seca on the 21st with ncrc Ill try to make that one too if possible.

Has anybody done a ncrc event before? Just curios since this would be the first time I've done an event with them (compared to say trackmasters or hooked on driving)

I have some friends with ae86s and my little bro has done some track days with them. Very professional group have already had several emails to gauge my experience level prior to my upcoming track day.

that's the kind of group that I am looking to do future track events with. People who are concerned with safety not making a quick buck off of whoever wants to pay them. btw I think @spitz said he was involved with NCRC.

LOL I wasn't going to name names... they're cool guys and run a nice casual event. Let's just say it's not a good fit for me, I want others on the track with me to have the same considerations I have.

Silly questions but its been years since since I tracked a car but any new requirements? Helmet is obvious so what is more comfortable - full face or open face? Any changing of liquids for THill? When I tracked the bike, they recommended water or water-wetter vs anti-freeze. Any mileage recommendations - I just broke 400 miles on my FRS, too young? And pads, someone here uses race pads, really recommended or just suffer the consequences of faded stock pads. Any local Bay Area shops y'all recommended to fit helmets - I'm sure my Arai won't be comfy as I've read here before. Anything else??

Thanks! And I hope to see my FRS soon enuf parked next to yours on a track.

I want to make this, but I'm not sure yet. Anyone doing Sonoma this year. I did two last year.

NCRC, TMR, and HOD are all quality groups, IMO. Each has their pros/cons, but all 3 are well run. I'll be at Laguna on March 2nd with TMR to debut my BRZ.

May not want to run THill with that break-in oil? Someone posted a picture of a ton of metal fillings etc in their oil. I wouldn't want to run around the track with that in my oil.

So I would recommend:
1. Helmet
2. Oil Change
3. Sun Glasses
4. Long sleeve shirt, jeans, closed toed shoes
5. Lots of water
