Sound induction tube Yay, or ay?

I say gay, not that there is anything wrong with that but its just not my thing.

ryude 12-03-2011 05:44 PM

I'll take it off soon as I can.

ahausheer 12-03-2011 05:46 PM

Ah dang, I meant Yay or Gay, how do I change the thread topic?

old greg 12-03-2011 05:59 PM

I'll give it a shot with and without the tube and see which I prefer.

blur 12-03-2011 06:04 PM

I like the idea :)

Zgrinch 12-03-2011 06:05 PM

I wonder if the tube has foam baffling inside like the Mustangs...so we remove it and it gets LOUDER!

DuMa 12-03-2011 06:09 PM

ill yay it until i need to do some maintenance on the car and decide to yank it out.

So you're already driven the car without it? ...or are you objecting to it being installed strictly based on an ideal?

Neutral_Eyes 12-03-2011 07:11 PM

Nothing is sexier than a couple of 86s rubbing their sound induction tubes together and hitting fuel cut at the same time.

Zaku 12-03-2011 07:13 PM

Was it tunned by Yamaha like in the LFA? cause if iit is then Hell naw Im keeping it. Than again is that what we're talking about?

ahausheer 12-03-2011 08:22 PM

I just don't like the principal. I think its silly, it's similar to the fad of buying pre ripped jeans, you gotta earn your holes man. I will however experiment with it on and off. Having said that I have drilled holes in my muffler and I reserve the right to be a hypocrite depending how cool it sounds.

Predwolf 12-03-2011 08:34 PM

Anything that helps it sound great inside the ****pit while keeping outside noise(eg: Loud exhaust) to a minimum is fine with me. The car will already be getting pulled over just on looks alone, last thing we need is to have fart cans alerting every bored officer within ten blocks that you're trying to get up to highway speeds since you have to redline it to get there.

nixeighty6 12-03-2011 09:13 PM

you can't say ****pit? hahaha
