When did you fall in love
 

I'm a huge magazine nut.. Obsession almost.. And I hate throwing them away.. I decided to get my collection together for storage, as I do about every other year..

And I realized I went through all the car mags to see what I had on the twins, when it hit me this is what started it all, why I couldn't wait for this car

Motortrend by far has meantioned our cars more then anyone else... 11 different issues

So about April or so is when I caught my bug, and I fell in love in November of 2011.... I've got the car in late August and over 10k miles later love every minute of it

Any other stories

Fell in love at work on the computer mindlessly typing in 'sports cars' and such on Google. Saw it in a Best of line up, at first I ignored it thinking it was was $$$$$$ but than I looked closer.. O god, keep in mind this was back in june/July...
But nothing will compare to when I first saw it in person. Crossing the street at a stop sign I looked over and just stood there in the middle of the street. My heart stopped and thought 'its really it... Holy shit... Ashley get in the car, walk over, get in the car' starts walking toward the car 'wtf am I doing, there's a line of cars and you're holding a six pack and late to a party'

went to the 2012 chicago autoshow. Never really liked toyota or subaru enough to consider buying 1. Saw the twins in person and fell in love. I always assumed living in Chicago the car was too expensive/impractical to DD, but I had a bad day in my previous Jeep and said fuck it and bought the FR-S. Havent looked back once.....

Grand Turismo 3 I believe... lol

The twins? The sheet metal concept is what got me into purchasing mode, but I had been following development since rumors back in 08/09.

Cars? Always been reading the pulps and such since I was a kid. Didn't start working on them until my WRX at the end of high school. Downhill from there!

I started following the concept in 2008 when it was thought it may be a new Celica. I was on a Celica forum and it was atwitter with hype. I haven't gotten one yet, so i've not fallen in love-- although it's safe to say i'm heavily fixated.

Women? Not yet.

The minute I saw it on the lot. Drove it home that night.

My previous car was a Toyota Avalon and I was brought up in a Toyota family. The moment I saw the FT86 concept (2010 I think) is when I knew that's exactly what I wanted; A RWD Toyota sports car.

I ended up with a Subaru BRZ because it has more modern features than the FR-S does. HID/LED, nav, better looking climate control, etc. Either way, this car drives like a dream, and I couldn't ask for more.
