i would replace the fuses , theres two fuse boxes also idk if you knew so replace the fuses even if they dont look broken, unplug the battery and leave it off for about 15-30 minutes then try again

its under the steering wheel, its tucked tight under it. its the forth fuse up on the right, it controls the side markers and tails. |

Looked up a lot of stuff on here, none more important than this one for getting me out of a ticket and not wasting time chasing down the right fuse. Thank you! -Blake |
So I just ran into this problem yesterday. I noticed that my boomerangs, side markers, tail lights, and 4rd brake light from Fn'A Auto all were not working.
Of course the fuse for "Tails" was blown, so I went out and replaced it. All the lights started working except for my 4th brake light. I kept the parking lights on so that I can mess with the 4th brake light bulb and see if I could get it working. The 4th brake light bulb came on for a split second and then went back out...along with all the rest of the parking lights. Doh! Maybe I shouldn't have been trying to fix the bulb with the parking lights still on? I've done it this way in the past and never had a problem, but I may have just been lucky then. I checked the new fuse that I just installed and saw that it had already blown out. Unfortunately the package of fuses I bought only had one 10amp low profile fuse. I did however have a 7.5amp low profile fuse, so I put that one in there for the meantime so that I at least have some lights when I drive to work tonight. All the lights are working with the 7.5amp fuse. I plan on getting another low profile 10amp fuse tomorrow. The only other thing I have noticed is that my alarm system no longer blinks the bomerangs and tail lights when I arm or disarm it. I verified that the 7.5 fuse is still holding up and all the parking lights are coming on as usual, but my alarm system does not seem to be getting a connection to my parking lights anymore. I'm thinking I can take my car to place I had the alarm installed and ask them about it. I'm guessing maybe another fuse is blown on the alarm itself? So with all that said, does anyone have any suggestions I should try before replacing the 10amp fuse again or taking my car to have the alarm fuses checked out? Thanks for any help! |
Haha. Yeah. Same thing happened to me. My side markers and DRL's wouldn't come on, but signals were working and brake lights. Driving me crazy. In the end I checked every fuse individually and this one was the culprit.
