Square Setup w/ Rear Spacers
 

Before I say anything else: I understand spacers are not ideal. That being said, I was wondering how bad this would be if I were to do it. According to the wheel fitment chart, at lowered 1", there is a 10mm discrepancy between the offset for the front and rear to be flush. I don't want to run a staggered setup because I wouldn't be able to rotate tires, I would like the spokes to have the same angle on the front and rear, and buying a square setup is usually cheaper. I plan on using this only for the street and removing the spacers for the track, as well as probably getting some dedicated track wheels. Is this a good compromise? What are the downsides? Can anyone recommend good spacers?

According to the chart, the difference is 10mm. Is there a reason I should get the 20mm ones instead?

10mm or 15mm "studded spacers" might be too thin of a spacer where the existing studs may hit the "mounting pad" of the wheel

10mm or 15mm "slip on spacers" might be too thick of a spacer not leaving enough threads to safely mount wheels and lugs

if you definitely want 10mm spacer you can:

mount 10mm studded spacer and grind down existing studs OR mount 10mm slip on spacer and replace stock studs with extended studs.

20mm may be the easiest route

Gotcha. Good to know. I think what I'll do is replace the studs and get open-ended lug nuts so that I can choose whether I want to use the spacer or not.

I don't see an issue with running spacers as long as it isn't on the track.
