To this today:

All 10,000 have been a joy. No problems, no issues, no "crickets", no taillight fogging, no CEL's, nothin' whatsoever -- except pure driving pleasure.

What a great car. I still get that "pinch me" feeling of excitement each time I look at, sit in, and DRIVE the FR-S.

Well done, Toyobaru.

A car for all seasons (with the right tires):

your problem-less car is going to make a lot of other members jealous.

Congratulations! Love that so many members aren't putting their cars away for half the year, these cars were made to be driven! Hope the next 10,000 are just as enjoyable for you :burnrubber:

Congrats! I am just a few miles from the 10,000 mark myself with no issues. Well, I did have the crickets but they slowly faded and I haven't heard them in a while now.

Hey could you post what rims and tires you have on your car?

Thanks.....................and how does it handle in the snow with these?

1" on the gound or roads by me and my car won't move............again thanks!!!!!

Buying your car in May means it was probably built in March or April. With that early of a build I would say you were very lucky indeed.

As the old saying goes: "It's better to be lucky than good."

I've got Nitto SN2 winter tires, size 205-55-16, on OEM Subaru Impreza WRX rims. The car works beautifully in the snow with them. Good traction and great feel and handling. It's a blast to drive! With a fresh layer of snow on the ground, if I want I can be my own personal drift king. While still maintaining safe control. These tires are a little "squishy" feeling on dry pavement at high speed, and they are definitely louder at speed as well. But overall they are a good balanced trade-off, and certainly better than parking the car and not enjoying it all winter.

Exactly, I don't know why people store this car in the winter it's not like this is a Ferrari.

Thanks, going to start looking for stock WRX rims.............

That first picture of your car looks like it could be on a postcard!

Seeing posts like these makes me wish I would've taken pictures of my cars mileage as she grows up. Oh well, never too late to start!

Thanks! I can't quite take credit for that pic -- it was taken by one of my good friends, who's an accomplished photographer with serious gear.

If you're interested, here's the thread with more pics he took of my car -- he's got some real skills .... enjoy:

Good old Warner Rd. What a beautiful place. Another great place for pics would be under the Wabasha bridge on Raspberry Island. Such a fun place to hang out. Beautiful pics man! Still see you cruising up and down 98th street a couple times a week.
