I know Bespoke is hated, but....

all i want is touchscreen, full fitment (no fillers), bluetooth, and the ability for on screen dialing. For about $450 is it worth it if i just want such minimal things? I cant seem to find any other 200mm double dins

Right now, I don't hate it as much as others. I find it to be kind of nice. Touch screen, connects to your phone. I don't care too much for Nav, so that doesn't bug me.

so basically for some1 who could care less about nav (i have a dam smartphone anyways) it's a perfectly good stereo?

Yes. I wanted a headunit with the same features as you. It's been great for that and plus the Pandora comes in handy. I bought mine for $500 used and it was kinda expensive but I hate fillers

awesome, thanks for the feedback

For me. Yeah. I like it. I plan on throwing in a sub, and that's it. Maybe upgrade the other speakers later on down the line. But the head unit, I'm not upset about.

I have it too. I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Google Phone). It works well as a bluetooth source. My ONLY beef so far is it would be really nice to be able to see whats playing in the head unit and not have to look at the phone. Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied since I can listen to anything that will play on my phone.

My other beef is that I have issues where the unit will not always see my USB stick. Lots of times I have to un-plug it - then re-plug it in to get it to see it.

Anyone know if there is a way to display maps on the headunit display using an Andriod phone... instead of a IPhone? Or has anyone figure a way of loading the BESPOKE App on anything other than an IPhone?

The bespoke unit is great for me.. I like it, my connectivity to my droid RAZR HD is seamless, I haven't had but one issue connecting, but rebooting my phone worked..

Seeing as how we can hook up a backup cam to it, I don't see why we can't mirror the phone to run GPS on it??

I have the GNex and had same issue when i used Bluetooth to play music. Now i have the Galaxy SIII and it does show music ID3 tag info on screen. It might have to do with Bluetooth Protocol.

GNex V3.0 (A2DP / AVRCP)
Galaxy SIII: v4.0 with A2DP, EDR

So the SIII does have an updated Bluetooth protocol.

The phone book lookups on the BeSpoke unit are a joke. It is horrible compared to the AVIC x920bt I replaced mine with. It connects to your phone just fine, but so does the standard radio. The touch screen is decent and it's a good enough radio. But the interface for finding a contact is pretty lame. Also, with the x920bt, you can use the voice command to call somebody.

Anyway, the radio will *technically* work for your stated needs. But it does still have its short comings with phone integration.
