Meh... I used to go to the NAIAS every year when I lived in Michigan so just about any other autoshow seems like a indoor car dealer to me. Honestly I'd be more likley to road trip all the way down to LA for that show than this one in SJ.

I'm used to watching manufactures debut concepts that show of their next direction in styling and technology. Not what they currently have on the showroom floor.

Blaine is spot on. This thing is meh. It's basically a bunch of showrooms under one roof.

I got a free Scion beanie last year. Still haven't worn it.

I stop going to Moscone center for years now...for about the same reason.

Same, I've never been to the SJ show but I used to go to the SF show and that has been a disappointment. Manufacturers don't seem to think the NorCal region is an important show stop. It's pretty much Detroit, NY and LA. Like Blaine and Denki said the new concepts never make it here, and that's what I'd want to pay to see. Not to see what I can see for free on the dealership lots.

The FR-S and BRZ will be two of the most interesting cars there...

Lmao. I took the family to the SF show, got in for free b/c some guy was giving away promo tix. Went down the escalator, straight to the FRS/BRZ section...on the drive home, the wife gives in and says buy it. Day after, I stop at Livermore and Dublin dealerships... On 12/9 evening, wife and kids pic-text me from the FRS that now sits in our garage. That is months of showing her YouTube and google pics of the car. She (we) couldn't believe the pics until we marinated in it at Moscone. What else did we see...don't care don't remember :) :)

SJ show was only good when Silicon Valley Auto Club took up an entire floor. That's about it, really.
