Theres not much to see in Ontario other than the mall. You need to drive out 30-40 minutes to LA or OC to find something exciting.

I think we may be going to the oc area for a few nights. But I'm just trying to get ideas before I head out that direction.

I have a 86. But I'm not driving it down. I'm flying into town. But we're getting a rental. Maybe they'll have one I could rent lol.

Lol well where ever six flags is located. I know I'm heading that direction. How far is that from irvine?

About 40 minutes away its in Valencia.

A couple years back I was at Ontario airport and there was a guy there with who I assume were his parents. Apparently he had bought all their tickets for their Canadian vacation. You guessed it he was only able to afford their airfare cause he picked Ontario, CA instead of Ontario, CAN. The look on his face was priceless and his father and mother trying not to laugh was even funnier.

Also keep in mind that these estimated times were giving you are without traffic. Socal is really bad so just bee mentally prepared hahaha

Yeah just plan around rush hour. Weekends aren't that bad but Mon-Fri around 7-9ish and 5-7ish is pretty bad. Considering you're from Oregon, just imagine Portland rush hour but much worse.

Compared to Oregon, SoCal has great Mexican and Japanese food so keep that in mind.

I'm always in portland for the holidays to visit family, and it's sad that they have all types of food except for the great japanese/mexican joints like we have here. Decent ramen is particularly hard to find out there.

You're from Torrance, so you are spoiled when it comes to Japanese food :D
