Just got off the phone with Scion... FR-S release date late spring 2012
 

They said the Scion FRS was to be released late spring of next year (2012) and that there will NOT be limited production (availability will be the same as all other Scion models)! No word on pricing yet...

The 1000 unit rumor was because someone fed Leeky false info/misspoke. And we know its a world release in April/May.

ichi, I knew this stuff was up, but I just wanted to reaffirm the information. I thought I still saw a couple rumors of the Scion not coming out until fall or something...oh well

From what it looks like, both are scheduled for a spring release, I see April and May so perhaps Fr-S in April BRZ in May or vice versa

Yeah, but I got mine from SCION PR & even Jack Hollis (VP) said it in the SCION FR-S reveal event
