The data logging thing was shown in a Japanese video, it's nice to see some things actually got carried over to the FR-S

He said we won't get pricing until early spring. His enthusiasm about wanting share the answer leads me to believe he thinks it will surprise customers in a positive way. I suspect under $21k

The bad news: that data log can also be easily transferred to your local cop shop and insurance provider in the event of an incident... without your consent. So much for privacy rights.

If you have a smartphone with you while you drive they can already do that if they want to infringe our privacy. Plus, this one does a pretty good job at tracking how well you corner and the orientation of your drift too.

A data logger reset button mod anyone? ;)

Better still - the software automatically deletes data on occurrence of an "incident"...

Pretty sweet, Honestly Im very Happy with SCION and Subaru for these two cars. I don't think that SCION did bad at all with this car. Some cool features for sure!

Wonder if there are any tracks near me that are in grand turismo that I can actually get some track time on.

Otherwise the data logger is pretty useless until someone in the community finds a way to use that data for a real world application.

Don't get me wrong, I still think it's cool... But do I think I'll ever actually use it? Probably not
