Hi all 86/brz owners, nice to meet you all :). My name is Neil, I am from the Aussie MX5 community and drive a 2006 MX5 NC - this is my blog and car

I like to propose an invitation to you fine gentlemen to join our team. The team consists of a mix of cars, such as the 86/brz/MX5 and more. It is a great way to bridge the gap in the communities, go on fun runs and represent on the track. We are primarily based in Sydney NSW, but we have members around the world. So there is a recurring joke in the Australian MX5 community. Some owners of NAs and NBs (first and second gen mx5s) are convinced all NC (MX5 3rd gen) owners are old, wear cardigans and drive oversized MX5s that therefore handle similarly to a barge. As funny as that sounds, the truth is that they are just jealous of the lap times we get at the track ;)
Well we have embraced our monocles, smoke pipes and cardigans and have created a racing team for gentlemen. The Barge Racing Team (Visit us on Facebook).

Here is our team logo. We will decorate our sexy cars and use them to mock our adversaries as we go sailing past them on the track.

Team motto:
The Barge Racing Team is dedicated to all cars underestimated for their handling and/or speed. We know their true potential and often enjoy passing our foes on the track with a polite invitation for a lift!

Note: This team is not MX5 NC only and I hope to soon have a good mix of barges, such as the Toyota 86, BRZ, Mini on the team. We will represent the team on fun runs and on the track

I drove the latest model MX-5 that came with the upgraded Recaro Seats and BBS wheels for a while and it was a blast and was one of the most fun cars I've driven. Now I've got an 86 and loving it just as much if not more due to how tall I am!

But the best thing you can do is buy some stickers and represent the Gentlemen's team in your area :burnrubber: and spread the word!
