Best HIDs/ LESs Vendor

This post is strictly for people who have bought their kits from vendors here on the sight. I plan on converting my FR-S completely to LED. I have already done the Interior LED conversion. Got it from HID_Powerhouse. Now I'm wanting to do 6k DRLs, 6k HIDs, and Amber/LED Turn Signals. I'm torn between Concept There LEDs and HID_Powerhouse. So, with all that being said who can provide some insight as to who's the better buy/ better product.

For drl I got it from concepts. It's amazingly bright with 120 leds which is the most I've seen. Others are 60.

Tap'd from my G-Nex

I bought my LEDs from concept... It's.... Ehh.... My 6k drls don't match(different tones) No big deal... I love the amber/white switch back LEDs. But they don't have the best fitment. So I constantly check if they still work. Using duct tape does help. But I noticed on long drives. The amber connection goes out and the white led just stays lit even with the blinker going nuts. Make sure you have the resistor. The hyper blinking is annoying as hell.

I am curious about this as well. Would like to change everything over to LED and add an HID kit. Lookin to get everything from one vendor at one time and have everything fit/function together and match properly. Definitely interested in opinions from folks who have already taken the plunge.

i got my Full LED and HID Kit from @KI_ZN6 HID_Powerhouse. I would suggest go for him. I got the 6k DRL from concept. both have great products.

I got all interior and license plate light and DRL LEDs from hid powerhouse , very satisfied .
I'm yet to decide who to buy HIDs from so I'll be looking here

Glad to see I'm not the only one interested in this. The main difference I've seen so far is Concept There offers better.prices. My interior LEDs are from HID_Powerhouse and I couldn't be more satisfied. Just needing input before I buy.

Brightness is not necessarily a good thing. With HID, you get a lot of reflection from signs and other reflective surfaces, so it can decrease, not increase visibility.

As far as brightnes goes I was only concerned with it when it came to the interior LED and reverse light kit. As far as the HIDs, DRLs, and Amber/ LED blinkers I just want to get a vast opinion from people who've already bought theirs. Any HID upgrade you do on any vehicle is going to be brighter than stock.

I had everything on led.. But took the rear blinkers out and put the bulbs back in.. They wasn't bright enough during the day.. At night was fine.. But in the day it was barely noticeable.. I've purchased my led from all the vendors on here I think.. I have no fitment issues from my switchbacks..

I've bought from TSI, powerhouse, and three concepts..

I also love the hyperblink.. I have the relay but I didn't install it.. I think that rapid flash just grabs more attention, and it took a week or so for me to get used to it.. The sound doesn't even bother me any more

Ordered side marker lights from Concept- installed with stock markers, but will be putting in clear ones tomorrow, so the difference will be drastic.

Ordered rear turn signals in red from Automation LED. Should be here tomorrow.

Ordered dual turn signals from concept (blink amber, shine white). Those should be here tomorrow or Tuesday.

Ordered reverse lights LED for $10 on eBay. They aren't bright but they look nice

Ordered 5k HID's from amazon. Plug-n-play $70. Should get those in tomorrow.

Trunk light and license plate lights from Concept. Love those!

Didn't buy my LED's from a vendor on here, instead I got mine from V-LEDs. Not sure if we're allowed to discuss other companies on here or not? :iono:

I've bought from them in the past when I had my Avalon. Never had a bulb go out, and they have good quality stuff. Made in USA too

Drls from HID Power House actually have a housing around them much more finished product. You don't see all the LEDs exposed like those from concepts. Also Ken from HID powerhouse is one of the few to get the german made slim ballasts which he brands as the Euro Concept kit.

Its a high quality kit in the sea of kits from China. He can actually show you pics of the insides of the balasts too which most vendors wont. In the end most LED/HID vendors all source from the same places. However Ken tries to get the best stuff and is not shy about showing the tech specs to back it up.
