Puts the car halfway between vsc on and off, ie. allows you to get a little more side happy before it cuts the power and breaks the wheels.

That is the description I've always heard. VSC Sport however doesn't allow ANY slide in my experience.

Stock tires? On track with AD08s it cuts power all over where TSC off doesn't even result in any steering correction, etc..

Maybe with low grip tires it might.

With my low grip stock tires i do get slip with VSC sport sometimes significant amounts depending on the road surface. When i get some michelin PSS or continental DW's on the car ill let u know the difference. Though i suspect it will operate the same.
