Master brake cylinder brace

While looking for a strut brace I stumbled across this mod.
There are really neat mods by Grimmspeed and Perrin, however they have been designed for a LHD.
The Cusco OS strut brace has a added feature for the RHD, but comes at a price.

A part worth looking at developing for the 86 RHD......

Who would be interested in a part like this. With the movement in the cylinder, this brace helps increase the braking of the 86.
Here is an example of the movement

Cannot find a RHD version available and opportunity to make it up in SA.
This part I found in Australia, however they won't supply SA.

How it fits in the engine

If anyone is interested in this part let me know, busy making up one in SA. Estimate under R500, but to be confirmed once done.
If you are uncertain of the purpose, look up Master cylinder brake stopper, which details the effect this has on improving braking.
Part will be straight bolt easy installation on to the existing holes provided on the right hand strut tower, currently covered in plastic lugs.

Is there anyone who lives South JHB near Meyersdal? Need someone to meet up for around an hour to take measurements and the angle of the master cylinder.
PM me this will get you a free unit.:happy0180:

Thanks RueFT86 for helping out.

KapteinBos 01-22-2013 01:08 PM

warranty implications?

Vic_RSA 01-22-2013 01:10 PM

I don't think any really as it isn't actively (as such) improving the performance of the car.
@sav, @Ryan86 your thoughts?

JouMaSeHoes 01-22-2013 02:37 PM

Just make it look as "standard" as possible and I doubt that anyone will even notice.
