Save stock tune with ecutek?

So, i have a ecutek cable and license, and before i flash my BRZ, i am wondering, can i save the stock tune with the software? I would like to have the stock tune, so i can flash back should i need to take to dealer, problems, etc...

Is that an option on the software?

I notice the Visconti tunes send a stock tune with their stage 1 kits, so wondering, is the factory tune, just a standard/generic tune?

Thanks for any input.

I believe you can flash it back to a generic stock tune but not your "actual" original tune. However there shouldn't be much difference.

Who you bought it from(tune)? should provide you with it! If not just pm me your email and I will send it to you.

Anyone have the stock tune for North America 6MT that includes the latest recall WQC39 fix?

I took my BRZ in for the WQC39 fix and left my stage 1 tune in and had no problem. The dealer had no problems installing it and the stage 1 tune wasn't effected. They weren't happy about my moving the GPS antenna to the top of the dash and got a nice lecture about how warranty service has to be performed in a given way.

Interesting, so that tells me that the recall work doesn't involve flashing the ECU since ECUTek would've locked them out of that...

...or your dealer didn't actually do shit and just called it a done deal.

Can you provide information on this? Why, how, where, pictures?
