Caffeine and Octane Monthly Meet
 

This is going to be the official thread for the monthly Caffeine and Octane meet in Atlanta.

The meet goes on the first Sunday of every month at 12600 Deerfield Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30004 (at the intersection with Windward Parkway). Directions can be found here.

The meet goes from 8:00am until 11:00am.

Alright so who is going to this months meet? I'm planning on showing up around 7am as I will be able to get off of work early this time.

I'm planning on attending. Is there any kind of registration?

I might show up, and no there isn't a registration. You just drive your car there and park where ever you can. If you want to park in the main lot, be there early.

Thanks, I'll be sure to leave the house a little early and dress warm.

Whoever gets there first try and secure a spot to the left and to the right of you, that way we can try and group up our cars.

I'll be there like always. IMO it's best to just park in front of Mambo jambo breakfast place there to avoid the hectic main lot. I'll be there in my WRB BRZ again.

Alright I am here. I was parked in a side lot till 2 suvs parked next to me so I moved to the main lot.

Great seeing some of the people I know only from lurking the forums. I was presently surprised at the general amount of interest in our cars considering there were a ton of exotics and super modified cars there.

I'm not sure. It was on the car when I bought it.

I should be able to come to one of the upcoming C&O meets. This morning was just too cold for me to want to get outta bed and drive 30 minutes north.

Damn...I never even made it to the other side. We had 3 on our side of the lot

I plan on having breakfast at Cracker Barrel at 6:30 or 6:45 and then head over.

I'm a no-show again. Sunday mornings and this event just don't go well together, particularly since it would take me an hour to get there.

It used to start at 8am, but now you have to get there around 6:30 in order to get a decent spot.

Alright, so I'm planning to go to this event. I'm stoked about having all of us park together. I just got a $500 camera that I will be taking a LOT of pictures. This will be my first time so I really want it to be a BLAST. I am wondering what time and where we will meet if at all. If we're not meeting I'm wondering where we should park. I'd love to be the stars of the show haha.

I'm going to be showing up right before 7am I will try and save spots for you guys. I'll see if I can't find a spot on the main lot and save room for y'all.

Hope that helps anyone that hasn't been before. Get there early (~6:30am) if you want to set up spaces in the main lot. The outer perimeter of the main lot is a good place to gather similar makes and models.

Man that's early. I will see what I can do to make it up. I'd rather not park in the main lot which I've heard is super busy.

If you arrive "on time" which means late, or want to leave early, the place is a zoo. IMHO they couldn't have picked a more poorly designed parking lot to hold this event in, and from what I could tell there is no coordination of traffic flow.

That is why I've hesitated going back since I can't get there early enough to "beat the crowd".

I'll be there with some other friends by 7:30ish. I'll look in the main lot, but I'm assuming by that time, I'll have to go in the overflow lot.

I had zero problems getting in and out of the main lot last time. Honestly during the last meet rhe overflow lot was the worst traffic wise.

I'll park in the first empty space I find as far as I'm concerned... LOL. As long as I dont get any door dings.

Is anybody doing breakfast? I was thinking about hitting up the J. Christophers up there with a friend of mine and my brother in law... they are both going. My buddie has a porsche cayman s.

Planned on going to the nearby Cracker Barrel at 6:30 or 6:45. I believe J. Christopher's opens at 7am.

Oh ok.... cracker barrel it is. I'm excited man, this will be my first one.

Ill be there if its cool :P I'll be bringing my girlfriend along for the ride. Hopefully we can all find a parking together haha. Cracker Barrel? Ill try to find it ;)

Its not far from where the place is... should be pretty easy to find. Looking forward to seeing all the 8sixes
