Was browsing FR-S parts on ebay and ran into this "chip" that claims to drastically improve horsepower and fuel economy...for 9 dollars...and people are claiming it works (in the sellers feedback).

From what I've read, it's a resistor that's supposed to tell the ECU that the air temp is lower than it really is so the ECU advances timing and leans out the afr...

Ur shitting me... I don't give 3 shits if the thing gave me 100hp+ rubbed my balls while driving... I wouldn't plug ANYTHING into my car other than a performance shop doing a tune for me because I paid them to do it and got a receipt and they had a proper QAP in place should they tear my shit up due to whatever reason... screw that.

All his claims are "Up to"...as in, from ZERO to 50hp...I'm guessing it'll be closer to zero...:D
