Please go down these steps accordingly until your trunk is open

1. Try hitting the button on the trunk itself
2. Hit the button on the dash to open the trunk
3 use the button on your key fob to open the trunk
4. Use the physical key located in the key fob to open the trunk with the key hole
5. Noe that your trunk is open make sure you didn't accidentally hit the valet parking button located on the left side inside your trunk.
6. Don't feel bad I didn't know the valet parking button existed either.

That was a nice post ......

I'm hoping I'll find some advice somewhere around here. =/

Why won't your trunk open? Read your owner's manual.

There is a keyhole to open your trunk. Once open, hit the button in the trunk (think it's on the left side) that allows you to open your trunk using the key fob or the button near the steering wheel.

One time I was picking up some pizza for our pizza party at school and I couldn't get the trunk open. After 10 minutes I finally figured it out. Glad I could help someone with the same problem. I guess the pizza hit the valet button.

yeah thanks :P I do feel pretty silly because I was looking up all the wrong glossary terms in the manual, and was starting to panic, (and had forgotten that there are three ways to open the trunk..mainly i forgot there was a keyhole in addition to the fob and button which don't work while the valet lock is on), and a minute after cjsporl1996 answered and I'm like "why didn't I think of that" - I start finding posts like this one (http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12024) and am like "why didn't I find this sooner"?

I know I'm 3 years late, but my trunk is closed and I can't open it by all the usual means posted all over this thread, so my only hope is to go through the back seats from the cabin. Can anybody confirm that they've opened it from inside the car? I don't see any rods on the top/backside of the rear seas,.
