Haven't seen it posted.. Car and drivers new edition of the lightning lap.. Anyone that knows about VIR, knows its a track that needs power.. And I knew the twins wouldn't do great here, but was surprised how bad it was.. At least the BRZ wasn't dead last

Also.. Brakes where the problem with most of the cars.. Anyways.. I think I would've been a bit happier if we couldve beat the genesis.. Now I see that sympathy card having a twin on it... Which btw I think is the best advertisement I've seen in a long time lol

I don't think the twins could have beaten the Genesis here since it was the 3.8 version, especially when you did mention that power is a must on this track. On the upside, correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like the BRZ is the fastest 4cyl on that list? :D

They made it sound like they didn't push the LFA as hard as they wanted to.. It was only the third LFA ever made and the first in the states.. They Ferrari guys said they didn't care if they wrecked it.. Just better make it in the 49's lol

I wonder if the Ferrari was infamously tuned specifically for the event.

The rag did say a full support semi pulled up and that a computer sim said it will do a 49 and that's what they expected lol

its weird. on one hand i want to say theres more to that track than speed because the v6 stang does well with the speed governor but then the miata has the lowest time ever recorded in this test iirc

I had to go check.. I can't believe the mx5 was the slowest.. It's a great handling car.. I was suprised

I am surprised at the slow times posted for the Focus ST and the Genesis 3.8 R.spec. I would think theyd post faster times than that. The rest are on par for the course, but I think these two cars were under-driven.
